      The friends you make/camaraderie and 30 days of leave per year.

      Cons

      Too top heavy in regards to leadership, making lower level troops disgruntled with low morale. No real choice in where you want to go. If you go into an open field, good luck getting the job you actually want.

      Pros

      Laid back environment get your work done and you can coast.

      Cons

      Appraisals are off of the buddy system more often than not i.e. if you went to the same college as your supervisor you’ll likely get good scores if not good luck.
