      Pros

      The pension compensation and education benefits are superior to anywhere else. The Air Force has some mission areas that make you feel like you really make a difference; you have a definite purpose quite often.

      Cons

      There are a lot of location moves in the Air Force. This has its upsides, like getting to see the world, but it can be exhausting on you and your family.

      Pros

      Laid back environment get your work done and you can coast.

      Cons

      Appraisals are off of the buddy system more often than not i.e. if you went to the same college as your supervisor you’ll likely get good scores if not good luck.

      Pros

      Getting 2.5days of accrued leave per month is nice, which adds up over time. You can request leave whenever within your schedule and it won't be denied.

      Cons

      Not too much structure when it comes to squadron training. Depends on your squadron but leadership can really determine your experience.
