Pros

With anything you do in life, it's what you make of it. With that being said, although I was a Security Forces Member with the USAF, there was training, traveling and a lot of other topics which you wouldn't be able to learn without money and time on your hands. The benefits are always great working for federal, but there's a lot of other things you get along the way - camaraderie is a real thing in any military branch you go to - it's rare to find this anywhere else - Education - you can go a long way with this, especially if you're single and have a determined mind set - Sports - heard of the USAF football team? Yup, so you can even go national within sports. And tbh, that's just a smidge of what the opportunities can be for someone joining the military.

Cons

Long hours in the office or out in the field. There may be times where if you're married, you may have to be away from home/family at extended periods of time. If you're single, you'll be fine. Either way, just keep your head up and stay positive.

Pros

Like any military branch. Just a bit more business oriented.

Cons

Like any military or government entity.

Pros

Fully regulated (if things go wrong then you did not read regulations), brotherhood/family environment, supportive of military members and families, civilians, and contractors.

Cons

Highly regulated - if there is a regulation/directive for something, that means something bad happened to cause a new mandate
