      - Lots of peers of a similar age/ disposition/ values (service, community, initiative) - Great benefits - Very good pay - 30 days leave a year - Strong job satisfaction - Strong job security

      Cons

      - No final say in your location - Rules are actually laws, severely underperform and you can face real consequences - Lots of computer based training - Could die if circumstances are all wrong

      Pros

      Getting 2.5days of accrued leave per month is nice, which adds up over time. You can request leave whenever within your schedule and it won't be denied.

      Cons

      Not too much structure when it comes to squadron training. Depends on your squadron but leadership can really determine your experience.
