Pros

Pay is poor (I relieved a 3 cent raise, which was written on paper and handed to me across the table... I kid not) BUT they do have decent benefits.

Cons

Place is a total joke. They say it's customer service oriented, but they say a lot of things that simply aren't true. We had 4-5 bankers in a branch that rarely had any customers wanting to sit down with somebody. Unattainable hurdles that required lying and deception. They'd say stuff like "you're not helping enough customers" which means you're not opening a bunch of stuff customers don't want. Micromanaged by the hour, and overall just a nightmare of a place to work. We had an 8:30 huddle, then a 10, 12, 2 and 4:30 call to report our numbers. I once opened a business checking account and the customer didn't want a credit card. He was saving up for a home, and didn't want his credit ran cause it'd agent his score. I got grilled not just from my boss, but from his boss as well. The place is ran with the same toxic culture that has always existed. Your success will be 100% dependent on which branch you work in and how many customers walk through the door.

Pros

Benefits (but cost creeping up and coverage creeping down each year), Good Morale Both Management and Coworkers, and Honestly a Great Company.

Cons

Cross Selling is the only focus now, firing employees who are great at their job in every area that should matter but if the cross selling results are not meeting the ever ridiculous quota (which continues to rise) than you may not have a job next month. Expectation for customers to say yes to cross selling, leaving you with no real control of your job security. Stress!
