Pros
There are some great leaders, mentors, and team members. I've heard horror stories, but I've been fortunate to avoid the landmines of toxic leadership and apathetic peers. Senior leadership has flipped over quite a bit so it's hard to judge, but the current CEO seems genuine. Whether the high turnover was a series of choices or suggestions is anyone's guess, but the end result is a small consolation to people that lost their jobs in the past due to a leadership team that encouraged bad behavior. The future looks brighter than the past.
Cons
Much lower pay than competitors. A peer was fired for performance after 15 years with Wells Fargo. He (or She) was hired by a competitor for nearly double the pay and went on to be a top performer at that company. My former peer heard about the job opening from several high performers that left Wells Fargo to accept better pay for the same role. It's frustrating to see poor performers retained year after year when top performers walk out the door.
