Pros

All I can say here is benefits

Cons

The company does large restructuring often while you sit back and watch millions of dollars invested in 'projects' that go nowhere. You might work on a project for 6 months just to be told that it is no longer needed but it is okay because that is just part of being 'lean'. It often feels like you're in a middle school lunchroom with cliques. If you get in right with the right crowd, you can coast with incompetence or lack of qualification for a long time. Middle management is in over their heads, and it shows. Benefits are good, absolutely not worth the pain of working at this company. I will be shocked if the company exists as it does today in 10 years. As it operates today, this company will be drowning under their competition soon.

Thank you for your 5+ years with WU. We’re happy to see you list benefits as a pro. We aim to provide our global benefits because our teams work hard and should have the support and resources they need to come to work as their best selves! We are disappointed to learn about your experience. As we announced WU’s new strategy and operating model during our second quarter earnings, part of this means we must make difficult decisions regarding our investments to ensure the continued success of the business. We also want each employee to have the tools and resources they need to help them manage through the change, both personally and professionally. As we continue to help influence positive change across our organization, we will share your comments with the appropriate teams.

Pros

Very exciting times at Western Union with the pending acquisition of Intermex and a lot of the announcements around wallets and digital assets

Cons

The international offices seem to do a good job around cultural and office events while the US seems to lack this in some areas.

Pros

- Unlimited PTO - only 3 days required in office

Cons

- Leadership does not foster a collaborative culture. Sometimes inappropriately mean, dismissive, toxic. - 3 days in office required. Seating is not assigned, so you do not have a guaranteed desk for your items unless you come in 4 days per week for 3 consecutive months.
