Pros

The only advantage I would consider in joining this company nowadays is that the salary may be competitive compared to others. However, this doesn't mean you would find a similar salary elsewhere in the market

Cons

They offer tuition reimbursement as a benefit, but it’s rarely paid out. It’s often conditioned on being a top performer, and even when you reach that level, it remains conditional, making it nearly impossible to receive. The micromanagement is excessive, from upper management down to your direct supervisor, which makes achieving a work-life balance incredibly difficult. They conduct layoffs every four months, typically cutting 45+ people from various departments. This contributes to a toxic culture where employees are constantly afraid of being the next to go, and work in fear. There is clear favoritism among upper management when hiring or dealing with employees in general. Overall, the work environment is highly toxic, with a prevalent culture of racism and xenophobia. Upper management and corporate have been known to make disturbing comments, and there are numerous unsettling stories from employees.

Pros

Western Union was a great place to grow if you are motivated. The company wants to do well and generally efforts are well focused.

Cons

Lots of turnover that hurts a company that does write it's how to do things down. Challenging market that takes market share consistently.
