- silent layoffs including layoffs on probation period (what happened to me) - no clear feedbacks from team leads and very average management who is ready to fire you at any time if there is something that they don't like. - average engineering culture. Pace is being valued much higher than quality. Consequence is pure code quality and bugs in production. - very tight deadlines. Managers just want you to meet these deadlines and don't care about ways of achieve them. - no real speak up culture and ostentatious values. It's much easier to substitute you than change and improve something. All these 'Heart' values are corporate cover. If you are being honest it's against you and will be used. - americanized way of working. - anonymous feedbacks are not so anonymous. It's easy to understand who gave a feedback on you. If manager doesn't like your feedback on him/her there are could be some consequences, - not a human-being relationship after layoff. Access was taken immediately. No chance to say good buy to colleges and even normally access to the office to take my personal staff.
