Pros

- Good compensation - Stock options - Some very talented colleagues - Some roles get to travel to cool locations for work - Nice offices (the ones I saw)

Cons

Wolt used to be a nice Finnish company with good culture, but all of that has changed. Many people have been pushed out, and they brought in new people mainly from Silicon Valley companies. The product design team specifically is very toxic with hire-and-fire culture, blaming, gaslighting and manipulation. Leadership puts on a facade of being nice and people-centered, but behind closed doors the reality is different. Speaking up just gets you in trouble. There's many bro clubs in the company that favour each other, which is not surprising since P&E is 80 % male. The people team is nice but they can't help people being threatened with PIPs and then let go. I've seen high performers with impressive work get torn down and set up for failure. There's even jokes inside the company about how you can join a specific leader's team if you want to leave, because they'll let you go with an exit package in a few months anyway. That should tell you all.

Pros

- People - Technical processes are in place, a lot of automation and infrastructure boilerplate done so that teams don't have to care about it

Cons

- Directors are more interested in self-promotion and getting visibility on themselves and bigger titles rather than in the good of their teams - Lot of processes are missing - In engineering you are valued only if you write code, even if you were hired for a position that doesn't require coding
