      Deteriorating culture due to toxicity from DoorDash

      Pros

      - Can meet genuinely nice people and teammates. - Access to AI tools for trying out, the tech stack is modern. - Nice office.

      Cons

      - Benefits are poor, pay is mediocre if you are not a Senior (no stock options for non-Seniors either). - Headcount trimming left and right, with PIP culture from DoorDash. - Shifting priorities every few months, projects are being cut. - Chaos in leadership, the amount of gaslighting and backstabbing is crazy. - Decision-making seems to be coming directly from DoorDash. Overall, it's sad that it doesn't feel like a great company anymore, like from what I heard a few years ago. I would not advise anyone to join in the upcoming 2 years, due to its current madness and hire-and-fire culture.

      Pros

      Prior to the Doordash merge, the company culture and people was a lot of fun and amicable, almost a big family feeling.

      Cons

      Since DD they are driving the hyper growth into ruins. They do not care about the people nor their couriers. The attenuating quality of UX is damaging the great reputation and USP Wolt was able to establish in the German market. No growth opportunities. The conversion rate will probably just increase.
