Pros
Business Intelligence department has the strategy to recruit employees from the 3rd world countries. If these people come to work to Germany they believe this is the chance of their life.
Cons
because of the above, the employees dont stand for their rights as employees. This makes it possible to exploit them in the BI department. For example right now they are looking for new employees for their DWH team. In the job ad they write that employees can play table football. This is a lie, because in the DWH team they forbid to play table football during the working hours, in order to exploit them for more hours each day. They also forbid them to make lunch breaks for less than 1 hour in order for the employees to stay at work for at least 9 hours. 9 hours per day is the absolute minimum (which is already considered in Germany as overhours). When the employee needs to please his team leader, because this way he will stop to treat him like a footman, than this employee has to work for 10 hours each day. When the employee makes a mistake, in the Data Warehouse team they will tell him that if he makes one more time this mistake then he will be fired! But they dont have the intention to fire him. This way they just want the employee to be more motivated. 95 % of the employees will be less motivated in this case and will resign sooner or later. But for them its ok because they are looking for the remaining 5 % of the employees: the footmen! While you attending the interview for the position in BI department, they will tell you that they have flat hierarchy. This is another big lie because in the reality its quite the opposite: they have the highest hierarchy I've ever seen! I reported it on their whistler blower system. But Foodara doesnt care about it. They flout the employees rights... Apart from that they don't have any regulations for duty on call, so their employees work in the night for nothing. This is considered as big abuse in Germany's employment law.
