You learn a lot on the fly and through training, especially in customer service. When they say that having Enterprise on your resume will look good, they are right. Although, I don't know how much impact having no management level experience would do. I can definitely say that it helped me to have Branch Manager experience in landing my current job. Once you finally leave and find something else, other jobs seem like a cake walk.

Cons

Frat house atomosphere, you need to be part of the "boys club" to get anywhere in rental. This job drains the life out of you, both mentaly and physically. Upper management will convince you that the opportunities you have within Enterprise are better then anything you will get anywhere else. You do not make nearly the amount of money you should for the work you do. Dealing with the general public and just getting blasted by customers will drive you into the ground, with no back up from upper management because "the customer is always right' mentality is insane here. After I left, I was employed for one month and lost my job - even while going through that, I felt less stress then I did being a Branch Manager at Enterprise.
