Pros

Fantastic training scheme, people are always there to help, its an internal promoting company therefore every peer has been in your position and understands how you feel. Since this job, employers have been very keen to know all about Enterprise - they do train you hard and expect a lot however it really does help you through to your next career.

Cons

I was working anywhere between 60-80 hours per week, they seem to be open about this in the recruitment process however not to the extent of the actual hours. You are expected to stay over and work if there are things to be done, and you are expected to have a working lunch most days. I literally had no life outside of work. They expect you to jump through hoop after hoop after hoop- it is never ending! You are continuously expected to perform well, so much so, that other employees will throw you under a bus to get to where they need to be.

Pros

Great benefits (after 3 months), employee discounts, events with employees, opportunity

Cons

Longer hours than anticipated, you will have to work 6-7 days a week if your office is open sundays, you will be working 10-12 hour weekdays and around 6 hours on the weekend days. Management won't tell you schedule until the last minute. You'll be forcing sales on people who will be frustrated after car accidents and rushing through the process. Involves washing cars in suits and driving strangers around.

Pros

You'll be thrown in at the deep end and depending on your assistant branch or branch manager it will either mean you'll quickly learn the basics or you'll be left struggling. If you get a good team then you'll learn some good skills.

Cons

Upper management makes me cringe. They would try to be too American to the point it's just laughable. You'll work 50-70 hours a week (contracted to work 50) and you're supposed to get overtime but they'll promise you timeback (which you'll never get) or they will edit your timesheets. You'll do a lot of driving. For someone who enjoyed driving socially, this quickly became a massive burden and VERY exhausting. But there is no one else to do it so you'll have to do it. Underpaid, massively overworked, mentally exhausting. Good for those who only want a job for a year or two and don't have a social life.
