Pros

Company left such a bad taste in my mouth didn't want to do a review but decided enough people don't leave them and tell you how miserable your day is working daily... hopefully you don't mind being micromanaged and able to balance the stress of always having to work in the grey zone of ethical and unethical never black and white and even have some managers manage you to be unethical to be sucessful to meet sales goals . Everything is shady just don't believe it's all butterfly and rainbows . You will only enjoy the pay and benefits for a entry level no experience position the pay is great. You may also enjoy working with same level employees the recruiters do a good job hiring alike people. But high turnover rate.

Cons

Be prepared to be burned out your first month from the long hour days and work week . The job will teach you how to deal with entitled and rude customers. Also help you with face to face sales approach but once again I'll say I would only recommend this management trainee program to someone who is thriving to pursue being a car salesman or someone who don't mind being a slave for 11 hours a day and being treated like the "Do-boy" (yes man) to collect a really nice check. It's hard work to get noticed in the company doing things the right way when you are trying to sale protection on the cars and meet sales goals but I became a Management Assistant in 8 months and work out of 7 different stores and one airport and I worked for the company a little over a year. Also be prepared to be moved around to different store locations throughout your career often. Yes there is career opportunities because they "only promote from within" but even then it's all about who you know every promotion comes with interviews.

Pros

If you're lucky enough to work in a branch run by a good manager who actually, genuinely cares about their employees (you'll be lucky to find many of those) you will learn a lot about the fundamentals of how a business is run and you'll likely be part of a great team of people within the branch. It would also be unfair not mention the fact that you will make a lot of friends at Enterprise and you will be surrounded in your branch by like-minded people.

Cons

Firstly, the hours are beyond ridiculous, when you apply you'll be told that you'll work around 50 hours per week, add at least another 20 hours per week to that! This consequently means that you will have no life. You might as well say goodbye to all of your friends, family, gym memberships and normal sleeping and eating patterns. And the best part, you'll probably not get paid for working those extra hours either! During the recruitment stages, Enterprise put a lot of emphasis on 'future leaders', once you start at your branch you'll soon realise the managers (about 90% of them) are far from leaders, all they care about is money and they will make you do all the work so that they can sit in their office and take 3 hour lunches while you are lucky to get a 10 minute lunch break. There were so many instances where employees have been in car accidents whilst working and the only thing the manager will ask is "Is the car okay?" don't even be shocked when they don't ask if the person is okay! You are essentially a glorified taxi driver who cleans cars in their suits. Not only are you put in a number of dangerous situations, you're made to clean cars at 10pm at night when you started your shift at 7am. I could go into a lot more depth about this, but I don't think I need to. Honestly, you've just (or probably recently) completed a number of years of university, a dissertation and a lot of stress, but you are worth a lot more than this company. Yes, this company does provide opportunities for promotion. But during my time working there, I don't think I've ever been so down, sad, demotivated and upset. I suffered a number of health problems due to the stress that I was put under in this job, and by no means am I someone who is afraid of hard work and long hours.

Pros

Progression is at your own rate, so for those wanting to move their career along fast its ideal. I have found myself in a Branch managers role within 16 months. There is so much support around you to help develop your weaknesses and improve your strengths to become the best you can be. The interaction from management to ensure that you have a healthy work life balance is amazing to see, so you can be the best at work and home.

Cons

None during my career so far. Those who seem to have a number of complaints are those that were never fully engaged in the company. This isnt a job, its a career.
