Pros

Enterprise is a good place to start out right after graduating from college. You do learn great sales techniques and how to deliver excellent customer service. The pay is decent for the type of work involved.

Cons

I didn't like the fact that Enterprise Rent-A-Car literally ran out of cars almost on a daily basis after customers have already made a reservation for one. It was very hard for me to fib and make an excuse that the customer would by. We were taught ways how to work around that situation by upcharging them and placing them in a nicer car. Also, we had to re-clean the cars (in our suits) when the car washers didn't go a great job.

It's not bad for a first job and you have the chance to grow within the company. People are nice but it's still a lot of competition.

Cons

The hours are crazy. It's hard to get to the next level. You barely get time off even though you'll work a lot of overtime hours.

Pros

Fun and competitive atmosphere where anybody who has a head on their shoulders and motivation can succeed. Promotion opportunities include 6 and 7 figure salaries. Proven business practices are taught, and ethics are important to all layers of management. The benefits package can't be beat, and the vacation time is generous.

Cons

Pay is low until you get promoted to branch manager, especially for college graduates. The hours are long, and get worse once you are on salary. Most branches are understaffed, which means the days are both long and extremely busy.
