The hours are horrible. You work from 7:30 am to about 6:30 pm. That is a full day all day, and everyday. If you work at a dealership thiese hours could be 7am - 7pm, and open on holidays if the dealer is open. They are a strong sales oriented company. That is fine but when you are performing strongly in the company there are still reasons and complications for why one isn't getting promoted. I feel as though they already have certain postions for certain people but unfortunately I don't know how to be one of those people. Like alot of jobs it's all about who you know. There are also risks in the business. You have to confiscate vehicles from customers' dwellings and play detective. If you are in a undesirable area that may not be the thing you want to do. How ever if you don't reposess the vehicle that will jepordize your paycheck, for a couple months. Customer service is one of the most important core areas but sometimes you have to do a little bit too much to get that cust to say "completely satisfied". You put up with alot and everything is your fault. This includes whether a replacement insurance approved a tiny car when you drive a Suburban, or when the dealership said they were going to pay for the rental and didn't because of the condition in which it arrived, or why the customer is still responsible for damage to the rental, not Enterprise, even though some third party is paying for it.
