Pros

You will learn a ton about business, marketing, sales, logistics and management! Overall the job is fun. You get to work with people in their 20s and 30s who work the same crazy hours and for the most part like having fun. Job assessment is pretty good and management is good about being clear regarding what you need to change/improve etc. Benefits are great

Cons

Pay sucks. Good benefits help offset it a little but it still sucks. Can take awhile to move up so you'll be poor for awhile. Hours are really long which can make job searching interesting

Pros

They have a nice environment as far as the people you work with and the fact that the job entels so many different things that the day goes by extremely fast. They aslo have excellent benefits and vacation time that is accrued each month. You accrue one choice day per month for the first 7 months and when the year anniversary hits you automatically get 5 vacation days and still accrue choice days. Bonuses are rewarded when performance quotas are met. They are also off on every major holiday.

Cons

The hours are horrible. You work from 7:30 am to about 6:30 pm. That is a full day all day, and everyday. If you work at a dealership thiese hours could be 7am - 7pm, and open on holidays if the dealer is open. They are a strong sales oriented company. That is fine but when you are performing strongly in the company there are still reasons and complications for why one isn't getting promoted. I feel as though they already have certain postions for certain people but unfortunately I don't know how to be one of those people. Like alot of jobs it's all about who you know. There are also risks in the business. You have to confiscate vehicles from customers' dwellings and play detective. If you are in a undesirable area that may not be the thing you want to do. How ever if you don't reposess the vehicle that will jepordize your paycheck, for a couple months. Customer service is one of the most important core areas but sometimes you have to do a little bit too much to get that cust to say "completely satisfied". You put up with alot and everything is your fault. This includes whether a replacement insurance approved a tiny car when you drive a Suburban, or when the dealership said they were going to pay for the rental and didn't because of the condition in which it arrived, or why the customer is still responsible for damage to the rental, not Enterprise, even though some third party is paying for it.

Pros

Fast paced and fun environement, advancement opportunities, benefits, These are the some of the parts i enjoyed about working for Enterprise. I really did enjoy the job itself and i definetaly saw career opportunities by staying on staff.

Cons

Long days for little pay. I was working 60 plus hours a week. Working six days a week from 6:30 to 6:15 was way to many hours to be working in order to have a social life or even spend time with the kids. In order to advance in this company you need to have good sales skills to advance as selling additional insurance is key to being promoted. Another down fall is you have to be mobile in order to receive a promotion insmost cases.
