Pros

Laid back atmosphere. Culture of helping each other

Cons

Sometimes had work pushed on you. Felt kinda subservient to developers. Not much room to advance in QA

Pros

There are a lot of great things about working at Epic, open dress code, good salary, they will offer training and pay for certifications. A lot of smart people working there and you can pick their brains and really grow yourself.

Cons

There are definitely more positive pieces than negative pieces, but I feel there are some big question marks with in regard to management. Mainly in that they seem to care more about drinking the koolaid and are nothing more than yes men or women. I was on a very technical team when non technical people were being promoted to management positions. The problem with this is that you should be able to escalate issues to you manager, but that is pointless when you are much more technical.
