Pros

You get to work with not only incredibly smart people, but incredibly caring and passionate people. The pay is phenomenal and the work is fun to do on a day-to-day basis. As a software developer I get to collaborate with my team on things I design and things they design. We implement alongside each other and we test each others work and we have fun doing cool things. The food here is amazing and I can't imagine anywhere else having this high quality of food from coffee carts through lunch.

Cons

You become an expert in development languages that aren't being used by anyone else in the 'tech industry', so your experience does fall behind professionally in that respect. However, your ability to think algorithmically and be an intelligent computer scientist is not hindered.

Pros

The pay is competitive, and training is comprehensive. The culture is very young, the campus is modern and nicely landscaped, and the company is very interested in being part of the community.

Cons

Non-technical roles comprise less than a quarter of the company, which is great for overhead but means that support staff can be neglected and/or overworked. Hiring recent graduates makes fiscal sense, but it ultimately means that many leave after a few years.

Pros

Amazing, extremely intelligent coworkers. The company really cares about putting out a quality product and about taking very good care of its customers. Feels good to work in healthcare industry and feel like I'm making a difference.

Cons

They work you very, very hard. Work-life balance is tricky. If you don't get along with your immediate boss, you are in trouble. Many roles (though not all of them) require a lot of travel (more than 50% of the time).
