Pros

I truly love working at Epic. It sounds hokey, but the people I work with are some of the brightest, most dedicated people I've ever met. I get up every morning knowing that there's a new challenge and knowing I'll make a difference for the people I work with, I can fight for the providers to are getting bogged down by clicks and patients that will never see me or know I was a part of the picture. There are ups and downs like with everything and the lows are lower than at most places, but - I'm never bored! Oh, also, the food... and I'll never have better insurance. I love the travel as I don't have a family yet in Madison - I'm getting opportunities to travel internationally for work that I would never get anywhere else!

Cons

The maternity and paternity leave policy could be improved. They mention that we're at about the average for the US, but why compare against the US when Epic is looking to become an international company?
