Good pay but you burnout and are left with few job prospects and references
Pros
Hire (almost exclusively) straight out of college, very competitive pay for an entry level job. Quick promotion if you are the 'right type' of person. There is a strong culture that pushes for one particular kind of person. Great cafeteria. Lack of a traditional 'corporate' culture.
Cons
1. They do not provide references. If this is important to you do not even apply. Difficult to move to your next job. Failing to provide references for its employees, when a company that hires almost exclusively young people is inexcusable. Non-compete agreements hamper your job mobility. 2. Unsustainable customer support model. They have a developer and customer support staff shortage and their solution is to get everyone to work longer hours without compensation. 3. Difficult to move between applications, jobs or roles. Middle management have no idea what they are doing.
