Pros

Smart, motivated co-workers. Challenging projects. Autonomy and ownership of work. Meaningful impact. Strong company culture. Casual atmosphere allows for creative problem solving.

Cons

Some challenges related to the company's rate of growth, both culture-wise and facility-wise. You'll need to be able to teach yourself and manage your own time well to avoid working long hours to keep up with the expectations.

Pros

Good benefits Fun working environment Ability to contribute quickly Ability to work towards changing your role in ways that you'd like Competent/intelligent coworkers Some ability to choose to work on the things you're interested in

Cons

It can get busy/overwhelming at times, although the open & supportive environment make it pretty easy to get help if you need it. Sometimes seems like the team workload balance is a bit off- some people are extremely busy while others don't have enough to do, and it isn't always obvious, and so isn't always addressed quickly. Most evaluation is subjective, and the objective measures used (hours logged) seem to be overvalued compared to what they really indicate. It's hard to know how well you're really doing compared to others in your role/tenure since no one (supposedly) knows what anyone else makes, and you don't really get told what affected your raise one year to the next.
