Pros

Easy to make friends, great sense of community, great pay and benefits. Relaxed management style - nobody checking on you constantly, just do your work and report as needed.

Cons

You have to accept living through a cold winter, which actually isn't as bad when you get used to it.

Pros

Epic is a wonderful place to grow professionally and personally. The relatively flat structure encourages the craving out of niche roles that fit individual talents where value can be added to the company. There is not waiting for the person "above" you to quit or move on to give yourself a chance at doing something new or receiving higher compensation. Everyone is valued for the expertise and value they bring to the company.

Cons

The fast growth of the company means that we always have a big meaty challenge to tackle. That generally means hard work and spiky hours. However we are afforded quite of bit of flexibility and independent accountability which helps maintain a work life balance.
