Great Opportunities Available
Pros
I will forever look back at my time at Epic as being a great foundation to my career. It sounds cliche, but you get out of it what you put into it. If you're really motivated to prove yourself and consistently go above and beyond, you get rewarded handsomely via compensation and additional responsibilities.
Cons
Work/Life balance can be rough at Epic -- especially the first couple of years. You're no stranger to the 60 hour work week. It's a tough job, and Epic is growing quickly so there are times where there's too much work to go around and folks get stretched. Epic also suffers from the same syndrome most companies suffer -- that the "all stars" typically get a ton of additional work (or responsibility before they're ready for it) because they're most trusted, but it ends up burning them out.
