Great company to begin your career with. Lots of opportunity both in core telecom network fields as well as software development which Ericsson is slowly getting into. You can get to learn about latest technolgy as 3g,4g, wifi,wimax etc and how does Ericsson handle such ginormous amount of calls around the world.

Cons

Management can be some times blocking. Need to get past too many rules to get things done even if it is a initiative on your part.

Work life balance could be good depending on project.

Cons

There are no scope of learning and growth. Too much bureaucracy and rigidity with absolutely no flexibility. Too low compensation. Management does not invest in nurturing skills of employees. No exposure to cutting edge technologies.
