Everyone just wants to get through the day and does not care about the company, which is very very understandable and is sad. True story - Management constantly referred to employees as resources in a town hall meeting. A new British guy stood up and took offence about it, he was indirectly told to shut up by the VP and gave a lecture as to how this is a capitalist and not a socialist country. 6 month down the road even the VP was fired. You will be worrying about your job every 6 months. Way too much politics, and your job is a little safe if you play the dirty politics and get closer to your manager. Merit and talent does not matter. Every one is expendable as per the management. If your work is repeatable it will be outsourced and if you don't find a project, you will be fired.

Very far behind the game in strategy. AWS was launched in 2006. Ericsson Cloud is still undergoing development. Ericsson is struggling to transition from a traditional hardware company to a software company. Ericsson recognizes tenure rather than talent. Ericsson for the most part also manages to beat revenue and profit estimates by managing it's costs very well (laying people off) and offshoring critical components.
