Good way of gaining insight into how EU institutions work. Large selection of training opportunities are available. Fantastic experience meeting and socialising with people from all over Europe.

Cons

You are not given that much responsibility. Finding a permanent position in the Commission is pretty much impossible; usually the only option is a 1-week (sic) rolling contract, which is only for those who are desperate.
