I began as a recruiter for EE doing phone interviews to place clients at different job sites. I was basically told, after I began working, that we couldn't go any further until I had another interview. I made contact each day but I was ultimately ghosted for a week. Then, I got an email saying that they were going in a different direction. No explanation was given on why I couldn't get an answer on what took so long. I understand that, but the fact that I went a week with no answers after already working was actually insulting.
