Pros

Great people to work with at Warrington Birchwood site. Friendly and welcoming. All meals included in if you get in there.

Cons

Rota they tell you never is. Tell you one Saturday off in three is rubbish. Planning awful. Routes and loads are not right and you have to sort it. Proper full on some days. Swapping pallets about on shop sites with cambers'. Don the transport manager is not a people person. You will dislike him at some point. Wagons are a mix of old tired and new. Before I left they brought a 15 plate in but wouldn't use it. Get use to blind reverse's.

Pros

Nice customers & some nice staff. There generally were very little pros, as staff are entitled to a 15% discount, but customers can get 10% anyway. I wouldn't have really wanted a better discount, as the food is a terrible quality.

Cons

Farmfoods was generally poorly organised with bad management. There was far too much pressure placed on everyone, expecting you to do 3 jobs at once. Management had no respect for more junior staff. Rotas constantly changed last minute ( sometimes on the day of the shift). Additionally, management seemed to think I would be my minimum wage job before my studying, as they didn't have enough staff to cover the rota if staff were ill or on holiday.

Pros

The people who work there were great. Not to mention the bonuses whenever mystery shoppers were successful. Pay is slightly above minimum wage, or was when I worked there.

Cons

Very hard work, I was constantly on my feet and doing something. Lower down or new staff were always asked to work on tills whilst managers worked the floor. The management were constantly stressed out due to the work load and ever changing rules and regulations. All members of staff were expected to confront or pressure shoplifters, no matter their age or gender. There was a very high employee turnover rate so people were always being called in to work extra hours, double, sometimes triple their contracted hours.
