Where do I even begin? I applied for the part time position which included a 12 hour contract spread across 3 days, my second week there they bumped my hours up to 25 and then to 35 hours! All without my consent. I applied for PART-TIME work for a reason and had no say in my hours. When I called in sick there is no understanding at all. Long work hours and you get treated like slaves. Stocktakes every other Saturday that take about 3 hours until midnight, not paid for overtime and the company itself cuts corners to stay cheap and competitive. No security and customers are sometimes aggressive with shoplifting being a regular occurrence. If you care about your health and well-being then AVOID THIS PLACE!

Management treat you like slaves, had people working from 6am opening until 9pm closing (11pm for stocktakes) , sometimes all weekend aswell. They will change the rota 2 days before you are scheduled to work and expect you to change your plans at short notice Usually only 2 people working at once and one of them is management level so the other runs around after everyone Stock take on saturday nights even if you have important or legit reasons why you cant attend, they will make you attend (one girl had her own birthday party on the night and she got sacked for not doing the stock take) Spoke to like rubbish by management and they are all very intimidating Dont listen to you or your requests e.g days you cant work etc, they genuinely dont care about staff No trust whatsoever if your till is down by 20p they will search your pockets
