The management was terrible. They required people to be available 24/7 all year round . The money wasn't bad however, we are part timers. They overwork people in peak doing anywhere from 10-12 hours 6 days a week. As soon as peak season ended, the hours shrank to less than 2 hours a day 5 days a week. This made it hard to survive as a part timer and they refused to work with other schedules (work or school) due to their "moonlighting" policy.
Every other week we'd have new hires because they can't keep good workers putting stress on older workers having to deal with poorly trained new hires all the time. There was little to no air conditioning in 110+ degree weather. The schedules would flux between 8am start times to 5pm start times, sometimes even 10pm start times. There is no stability. A lot of stress vs the very little reward.
They began forcing us into other shifts because they were losing so many people across the building. They change schedules constantly without warning against the times we signed up for.
Job is decent for students if you can manage the chaotic scheduling.
