IMPOSSIBLE to get promoted unless you work part time as a package handler for 6-7 years. The company posts jobs on their internal career site, JUST TO POST THEM. Usually they already have been grooming a candidate for 1-2 years for that position (management, linehaul, HR, supervisor, etc.) So once the job opens, even if you apply for it, you WON'T get an interview. You won't even get a phone call.
For a package handler, there is no hiring standard. They will hire anyone with a pulse. For this level of work and its intensity, there should be a standard.
