Pros

They paid you weekly which is nice

Cons

The hours are really 7-12 or longer The first 2 hours are unloading containers and loading them onto conveyor belts for sorting...very heavy lifting and manual labor Then when totally drenched in sweat, you have to run right out and deliver packages Training was all chaotic because everyone is moving hundred miles an hour Just a terrible experience I kept getting criticized for not knowing tasks and processes that were never taught to me

Pros

Benefits early, some good people

Cons

Sexist environment, not the best for females. Hard workers are taken advantage of rather then valued, lots of low hanging fruit hanging on for years and just "showing up" for work to collect that check takes a toll on the people with good work ethics. Passive aggressive management style, low quality managers, most upper managers show up to go out to lunch, company protects the company despite the whole "integrity" being important, it isn't unless you are a peon - different standards for different levels of company. Low yearly raises, pkg handlers got better raises. Negotiate your salary/rate high coming in the door because it won't change much after that despite the company profits. Broken down equipment affects mid level workers - company saves money not replacing with up to date technology and you tow the line. Lots of gossip and backstabbing, isn't addressed as it should be. Managers are clueless what support does on a daily basis. If you speak out you get punished and have to endure hostile work environment until you make your escape. If you are targeted it is just a matter of time until you are forced to leave is not a good management style to strive for. Speaking out with HR during yearly feedback sessions is not confidential and comes back to haunt you even though you had good intentions for improving the company. Open door policy is a complete joke.
