Pros

If you’ve got what it takes, this can be a great career. Beware, this is not meant to be a job that you only do for a year or less. Choose this job if you’re ready to commit to a career that is going to be very long-term, or even lifelong. The amount of effort, and commitment that you will need to put in during your extended training is the kind of commitment that will have you rearranging vital portions of your life if you wish to be successful. They will warn you ahead of time. He does warnings. They’re being serious. If, however, you can make it through all of this you’re going to have gainful employment at an excellent rate of compensation for the rest of your life. There are also a few employers who treat their people as well as Fidelity.

Cons

The work can be incredibly difficult, and even mindnumbing. The extended training is grueling to say the least. While the support is there from Everyone around you, what the average person will need to give up for several months will be substantial. You will lose friends, you will upset your family, and you will likely encourage great amount of stress during this time. Licensing is very difficult time.

Pros

Talented to non-talented is a better ratio than most other companies If you are in global role, you opportunities are abundant Loads of benefits & perks Very matured organization in terms of processes, models, ways of workings

Cons

Heavy internal team politics - You can do everything right and opportunity may still keep slipping out of hands either coz someone else in the team is worried about your growth or that they eventually realized they didn't want a headcount and now they can't really ask you to leave so they will make the opportunities 100x more difficult. Too many big words and very less implementation Not a place for innovation - everyone wants to do the same things and follow same models which are repeated and reused 100 times in the other companies. Loudest voice is always heard here... so if you want to stick around shout more...louder and bigger...

Pros

You won’t find a company with better benefits. We had an unprecedented busy year and the job sucked more than usual. The company responded with doing an overtime incentive program where you could earn not only time and half, but another $25 per hour on top. In addition, they are rolling out another bonus, on top of the performative bonus we already have, for those who simply passed their license exams within a certain time frame of their hire date. In addition, we get 18 days of PTO, paid holidays, and this year, we got 40 hours of COVID Relief Time.

Cons

The job itself is not fun and can be stressful. When we were busy, we would deal with angry clients every single call, and take about 4-6 calls and hour for 8 straight hours. It gets tiring and extremely repetitive. I also personally do not like staring at a screen for that long.
