Pros

Benefits ..... that’s all I can say

Cons

Hard work and skill doesn’t matter. All based on favoritism so all you gotta do is kiss their butt. If you apply in a phone call center, expect to stay there and rotate between different call centers for the rest of your life. Only opportunity they offer is different call centers. Two 15 minute breaks, one 30 min lunch and they choose when you take it. YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT AT EXACT TIMES . They recently made it so that you can take it 20 min before or after . Break feels like 5 mins and lunch is 10 min cause the lines are sooooo long in the cafe and it takes time to get your butt up off your prison cell and walk all the way over there sooo technically you got 5-10 mins to shove the food in the mouth. Easy to get burn outs and forces you to do OT or else you’ll look bad and lose that opportunity for progression. Flexibility my butt! they give you a list of unattractive hours that is available and you just gotta choose from it. Just avoid applying for phone call centers unless it’s your last resort.

Pros

Great benefits package, decent pay, great colleagues, various shift schedules to choose from, quarterly bonuses based on personal results. Great intro job to finance, and Fidelity will offer opportunities to move towards your finance-industry-related work, even if you have little to no experience. You MUST understand that this is a call center job, however. As such, your job is to take X number of phone calls each and every day, day in and day out.

Cons

What used to be all about the customer experience has, over the past few years, heavily diverted into a metric-based environment. This leaves associates "kicking the can" down the road to the next associate who can help better, leading to a terrible customer experience, simply because associates are watching out for their KPIs. Poor KPI results will result in heavy-handed "coaching" sessions and absurd amounts of micromanagement.

Pros

Nice working environment. Great countryside -campus atmosphere! Great eating areas. Nice parking garages located far from buildings.

Cons

Have to be related to someone or willing to manipulate the supervisors. Most employees have access to all account holders information in the privacy of their homes. Screening of personnel before hiring seems short. This company seems to hire inexperienced people to handle millions of dollars worth of accounts. I have never seen so many confused people under one roof. The company keeps increasing responsibilities and nothing else.
