Pros

They pay OK and top-level management seems to have the right goals. Bonus's are basically a complete crap shoot because performance is likely to be evaluated by someone who doesn't understand your role and who has failed to set concrete goals or provide guidance.

Cons

Culture is extremely negative, especially within the Personal Investing group. There is very little accountability for either management or other co-workers, and very little transparency into how to accomplish the goals of your job. Priorities shift like the wind, since concrete goals are rarely established.

Pros

Benefits package is excellent, including 401k match and insurance. Many of the people (not in leadership roles) have the best of intentions and treat others well. Generally a positive culture.

Cons

In the past couple of years the culture has reverted significantly. Between leadership changes and major layoffs, the result is a leadership team with no other voices providing them with real info about how the rest of the world works in 2018. Many long-tenured white males in New England in charge of national initiatives who are truly living in the past.

Lots of good people, friendly culture, great benefits, great campuses with nice scenery and amenities. Interesting and challenging work to grow your skills.

Cons

Low base pay, hard to get promotions, in a cost cutting mode, decreasing work/life balance, cafe food not that good
