Pros

The profit sharing and health benefits are amazing. There are not many companies that can even come close to matching the benefits.

Cons

The actual pay is lower that the average. However, the benefits make up the difference. I would highly recommend Fidelity Investments to anyone.

Pros

Fidelity offers extensive growth opportunities to those individuals who display talent and a drive to succeed. In most cases the managers are very understanding of family and personal time needs, coupled with an expectation that everyone is a professional and will make their hours up as necessary. Fidelity also offers excellent benefits packages.

Cons

Depending on your position, there can be an expectation of working well beyond 40 hr work weeks, though that is not a consistent occurence. Occasionally Executive Management may have plans in the works that are driving changes organizationally, but which not all employees are privvy to at the time, and which can then make some of the organizational changes seem inappropriate (at that time).

Pros

Management and staff seem to actually care about the quality of the work. They do move people up, but it can take some time. There are big changes going on now, but in spite of that people are keeping their heads up and being treated with the respect that they deserve. The benefits are better than most, and from what I can tell, the people who didn't make it through the layoffs were treated much better than those at other corporations.

Cons

Shaky, scary economy. But, hang in there, the financial markets have to turn around and then things will be better for everyone.
