Pros

Good company to join for young people with no job experience. Will be able to learn about business while working. No layoffs in Japan, as you get older salary will increase unrelated to performance. People are nice. Good company if you want to under perform and but still do not get laid off.

Cons

Work efficiency is horrible. Employees has low base pay so they perform unnecessary over times. Very low salary compare to the market. Since there's no layoffs, some people does not contribute to the company but still get paid higher than the high performer since they are older. The senior management tells their employees one thing, but their action is completely opposite. Seniors decides everything. Not open to new ideas. Their reason is, because we been doing this process for years.

Pros

Hours are flexible, a lot of good people, good products

Cons

Very low employee morale. Constance change at the exeuctive level. Salary for positions are below the average for the area. Processes vary by business unit. Products even though good are to costly. No employee activities. Executives get bounses even though the company is not profitable.

Pros

Amazingly supportive environment Strong employee management practice ( Mentor-Mentee ) Flexible work environment Lots of scope for career role experimentation Role Model Concept ( Take any role, irrespective of your band!! I myself benefited from this ) Better than market or comparable to market increments y-o-y Third largest ICT company in the world ( Isnt that something!! , but very few people get to know this) Good training infrastructure which has improved in past 1 year.

Cons

Poor Location in pune ( far away from civilization, after 7-8 PM, even nearby tapri etc closes down ) Only option is canteen inside. Public Transport/Auto is a big challenge. Pathetic infrastructure w.r.t company bus services, canteen, gym etc Normal politics ( acceptable level ) Some very lazy people sitting at high positions Have seen a lot of top management/ organizational restructuring in past 2 years, which has affected mood on the ground. But again, does not matter, as long as you have a good project. The HR team which handles project allocations (WFM) is the worst i have ever seen in my career. They don't know how to treat the employees properly. Please note I'm not talking about regular HR team, which btw, is pretty good. Very difficult / almost impossible to get reimbursement of regular certifications , specially technical ones, even if it fully relevant to your role. Very very senior consultants/architects, would not suggest to come here. No place for true-blue architects here. Either you should be a manger or a consultant of medium to senior level.
