Pros

A lot of the oriental mother-company's standards for employee care are still regarded as important and regulated and enforced upon the european unit branches. This obviously greatly fades out the more the company branches out and away from the main and original "treetrunk". But still, specially upon the higher management and directorial levels, there is a pressure to maintain these standards. So, healthcare, insurance, a lot of discounts and partnerships, harassment and complaints, training (below productive as it many times is), and other recreational activities are taken with effectiveness.

Cons

This japanese company's traditional concepts and standards for honour and respect and employee care are trampled by west european yuppie mentality and are merely used as repeated speeches to dissimulate and abuse. Irresponsibly obtained and drawn up customer-company contracts due to corporate greed and commissions create breeding grounds for contract support teams with ridiculously insufficient resources and starting wages while unrealistic service levels are demanded from them. In contrast with a shocking salary difference with even lower management levels. All of this does not promote or reward team work, positive communication, intelligence, commitment, thoroughness, altruism, rational thought, pragmatism, process assessment or forethought. At all. It promotes and rewards a quick and careless dispatch attitude, making yourself look good instead of doing a good job, doing things only for yourself and for the people that you want to convince that you are the most ambitious and aggressive instead of being nominated by your peers and superiors for being the most worthy and deserving. Obviously this leads to an almost entire layer of lower and mid and even some higher level management who totally lack leader or actual people manager qualities or the interest in acquiring them, and rather indulge in displaying the status and the typical superior and charm offensive boss attitude.

Pros

They paid me on time. There are a lot of good people in the Dallas office.

Cons

Salary, hours, number of employees assigned to an account, no processes or procedures whatsoever. If you take a position here then expect to work 24 x 7 x 365 supporting customer networks that have old, outdated equipment. There is no backup so expect to be boxed in. A heck of a lot of turnover with this company.
