      Vast organisation, easy to lose the individual

      Pros

      Good benefits, large projects offer a wide range of opportunity

      Cons

      Mired in process, monolithic to act and unable to quickly respond to more agile competition. Very easy for any individual no matter how successful to become lost in the system. There are also a large number of "lifers" who've been with the company for a thousand years and bring that culture of sedentary with them.

      Reliable long term employment, progression based upon ability not totally reliant on qualification.

      Pros

      Ability to progress if willing to be mobile, ability to move into different careers without too many blockers. Pay at least as well as the rest of the market if not better.

      Cons

      Fujitsu has more opportunities within the South and unless wiling to travel this can be quite limiting to those that want to work close to home

      World class organisation with process driven system and good enterprise level projects

      Cons

      Slow on outsourcing and still heavily dependent on U.K. OrganiAtion for best practices
