Pros

G-Research is a fun and exciting place to work at right now. The people are some of the smartest in the world, and the business is growing quickly as it moves from strength to strength. The culture is very encouraging and has a good work/life balance. If you enjoy solving difficult problems with smart people, it's a great place to work.

Cons

Historically the business had more stringent security measures, and some of the traces of that are still around. However, it's clear there's been a big cultural shift away from that, so I expect things to change in the future.

Pros

Brilliant work/life balance, superb culture with lots of extra perks to feel valued such as a summer ball and weekends away, opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds in the world and really make a difference, in my role specifically I get to hire and meet some of the smartest people and play a part in their journey to join the G-Research family

Cons

There aren't many cons, but flexible working would be up there if I was pushed to choose something. Having said this, it is still relatively flexible when needed and managers are open to discussion on things such as taking a later lunch to go to the gym when it is less busy! Which I think is great.
