Pros

Alcohol on the last day of every quarter, team off sites, super cheap lunch room

Cons

Young, inexperienced managers who don't know how to run a team without biases. Too much emphasis on the numbers and not enough on the people. Differing goals from your sales partners leading to you being less successful. High stress. People tend to assume they pay a lot but really the salary is low and you MAY get commission.

Pros

Good benefits, decent PTO, mostly fun people to work with

Cons

Really amazing company but like most jobs if you get a bad manager your life will be terrible. I would recommend any role but Client Partner. Oh and don't believe the recruiters when the tell you how much you will make, none of that real

Pros

The company is great. Gartner takes care of its people with thorough health benefits, above-average page, and ample time off. Gartner also encourages a growth culture to retain talent as employees look for career development and movement. The Associate Client Partner role is a great foot in the door with the company and will teach you A LOT-- arguably more than any other BU-- about the rest of what Gartner has and does in a short period of time. You can also, after a full calendar year of employment, get tiering promotions to Client Partner or Senior Client Partner.

Cons

You will burn out after two years in the Client Partner role. Career development is encouraged, but only certain paths are very achievable or well-defined (moving into inside or outside sales, being the largest).
