Gartner try to sell internally that they are a trust based sales organisation but towards the end of each quarter management acts like you are a conservatories sales organisation. They should hire and develop managers better. The RVP for Ireland has little management expereince and can be heard regularly shouting at her area managers who in turn apply the wrong type of pressure onto their account executives. The sales managers in Ireland are all new in role and even though numbers look ok they are clearly struggling at the people side of their roles. It is my understanding that over half of the sales team in Ireland are looking for roles outside at given points. I would still recommend to work there and get it on your CV but this is not an organisation where you will forge a long term career.
