Actions speak louder than words - corporate mgmt cut staff pay and benefits, before layoff of 50% of worldwide conference division, yet no cuts made by CEO and operating committee to their own $multimillion salaries to protect the staff. Multibillion $ company and publicly it's all about the people, but the reality is far different.
Company has made many redundancies and offered a poor package to those in Conferences. Despite the pandemic, payouts to conference team are less than half those given to other divisions. Same for airline travel classes – the business class travel policy does not apply to anyone in conference team and you travel in coach regardless of flight time.
Work/life balance is awful. Flexible working is frowned upon due to dated personal opinions by US-heavy management team.
