      Shelf Life of Sales People is Real

      Pros

      Great training, decent benefits, most on delivery side of house are very intelligent (analysts, executive partners, etc.,)

      Cons

      Antiquated sales model that quotas don’t change when you’ve sold to everyone you are “allowed” to sell to. Lots of competition internally (fighting amongst reps based on size of accounts, territory, vertical…the list goes on). Everyone wants a piece of your pie and management could care less. The mangers whose region is doing best wins. Look at tenure of AE’s before you join…most have a 3-year shelf life and leave because you are stuck with same accounts that have been grown as far as they can grow.

      Not leading in information technology as expected

      Cons

      Has one of the worst IT organizations in the world. For a company that makes its business on advising other companies on technology, it's IT group is antiquated and dysfunctional. Company has unethical practices of firing people so they don't pay their bonuses.

      Stay away from this company. All of the recruiters in this company are some of the fakest people I have ever met. They lied to me multiple times about positions being available when they were not and would just pass me around to other Gartner recruiters who they said were my “very best resource” then end up to all be dead ends who didn’t even want to do their job after all and help someone else find a job. Most unprofessional, lazy, rude recruiters I have ever met at any company. Finally got asked to interview, went through 4 rounds of zoom interviews for weeks just to find out there was never an opening to begin with for that position. Stay far far away from these people they do not have candidates best interest in mind and enjoy wasting other peoples time as well as their own on the job. Ridiculous.

      Too many to count. Rude people who pass you around to the next unhelpful resource.
