Pros

-I have never been with a company that cares so much about developing its employees. I know others have had different experiences and maybe I am lucky in that my managers have been truly invested in my success here, but this is an incredibly supportive and collaborative environment. People from the client partner group get promoted quite often. -They also take employee feedback incredibly seriously here. I had concerns after reading what others have said on Glassdoor about the company and this role, but I feel like those concerns were addressed right off the bat without me even having to ask - they are aware of what their employees are saying and constantly ask for feedback, which they then actually implement. -Great benefits that they want you to use and good compensation. Plenty of fun off-site events to keep things light. -Hiring based on traits instead of experience/education brings in a lot of different perspectives and styles - lots of people to learn from here. -They encourage you to connect to clients in so many ways and the clients are sometimes pretty awesome people - great networking and some of the clients are doing things that really make an impact.

Cons

-Success seems to be a luck of the draw situation based on your manager, territory alignment, and/or sales team. -Metrics with sales and service partners are contradictory and that can cause tensions between business units. -It's a LOT of work and it can be challenging. Nobody will straight up ask you to work extra hours (except in rare situations), but most of the top performers seem to anyways just to stay on top of things. Sometimes what you have to do to succeed isn't explicitly stated. -Change is a huge part of Gartner. Changes in processes and staffing happen weekly and it can be confusing and inconsistent.
