Pros

Great base salary & on-target earnings for recent college grads/ a salesperson with 0-3 years relevant experience. They also offer a negotiable relocation package.

Cons

Many times young talent is the most economical talent to hire. However, hiring so many recent college grads has created an office culture that tends to feel like a frat house. Recruiters sell you on a 2 year promotion track that is not likely to materialize unless you find a way to be a golden child in the eyes of VPs. Additionally they recruit people to pick up their lives and move to Fort Myers for the role, but then fire some before they are ever out of the training academy.

Pros

Gartner looks amazing on a resume. Great place to quit for a better role.

Cons

Oh my my my where to even begin. First of all, the short positive reviews on here are written by recruiters (and they turn over almost as fast as sales reps). Your territory will be a few letters of a state split among 5-6 people so you'll all be calling into the same 200 people all year. Expect around 80-85% first year turnover among reps. Management is whoever played the politics/Gartner Hunger Games well enough for 2 years to advance. You'll manage accounts that you didn't sell, who were sold under false premise (HT only), which will non-renew and you will be penalized for it. Bring up any negativity and expect to be coached out for a limited mindset. Advice? Don't sign a lease, come here to leave. Gartner is a great place to quit for a better job. Stay woke fam. Be ready to stay late on quarter and month closes simply to wait for a team member to open an email that would have come regardless. Drink the Koolaid, it is very very blue.
