      Global/regional exposure Medical benefit covers family members Good number of annual leave

      Constant reorg, ongoing costs cutting measures, poor increment/bonus, most minimal employee development as parent company is looking to sell the company Highly matrix organisation structure with lots of internal politics at all levels and power struggle, making it impossible to get anything done in an efficient and effective way Being always present in the office, working overtime and on weekends are taken for granted while request for work hours/location flexibility is discriminated against and often rejected

      Pros

      Engineering management is very aggressive in improving the current situation compared to before where there were no guidelines enforced as long as the team can deliver something which result to tons of dirty codes and applications. Relaxed working environment (employees can manage their own time as long as you deliver) Alot of chances to be creative

      Cons

      Not enough company activities and team building. Aside from a nice desk, there’s nothing else. No company sponsored activities like tournaments, games and etc

      A confused organisation lacking direction and leadership

      Pros

      Colleagues are very friendly. Salary are quite competitive. Frequent opportunities to travel with work which is always nice.

      Cons

      Lack of strategic direction from leadership team Attempt lots of new ideas, but don't persevere or deliver things well Has a tendency to commit to a strategy, and will spend time, resource and budget on it - then often change direction and drop projects which is clearly a waste of time, effort and money.
