They are Big Bullies

Pros

Some people are hard workers, some people care about what they do. It's an easy work place to have a few laughs. Mostly Sales Advisors.

Cons

The management teams are very clicky. If they don't like you, they push you out, write you up for obnoxious reasons, team up on you (HR is included in this). The HR mananger tells secrets to everyone in the mean girl group. They make you feel like you're not good enough, even though you work overtime for free and always get everything done. When I was promised growth in the company, they never told me it was only if I wanted to move countries or across my own. And that was not the only big lie I have received from H&M.

Pros

Great pay and benefits. Lots of opportunity for growth! The staff you work with in store.

Cons

Extremely stressful environment even tho the area office acts like there is no reason to be stressed, its not realistic. Poor planning from corporate, all at once or nothing at all. The Area 2 office is like dealing with the popular mean girls in high school, especially the HR Manager. Don't ever speak up about anything or you're out!

Pros

Birthday pay, great employee discount, paid time off benefits, corporate level positions pay great, full staff in every location

Cons

If you were a district manager at your company they would tell you you're only good enough to be a store manager at H&M. They value their internal hires more than external. It is impossible to close and fold down the store at the end of the night because all of your product has to be on the floor. There is pretty much no such thing as backstock. I was told by my upper management numerous times to clock out because I could not get overtime but to still work off the clock as if it was not an option, which is a serious HR issue. Unless you are applying for an office position at H&M, do not even consider it. They treat everyone working their floors like crap.
