I loved working for the Long Island Store!

Pros

The discount was pretty good at 25%, I loved going to work, and I worked with some amazing people. They always want you to learn new things and they try to push you up in the company.

Cons

When I transfered to a city store it was like hell, the people and management were awful, the customers expected service as if they were at Bloomingdales and they under paid me.

Pros

Great progression opportunities. Reasonable pay and discount.

Cons

Hours of work are extremely unsocial, I usually work 4 late nights a week which was never the case with other retailers I've worked for. Staff are worked way too hard, every single day. The pace and constant pressure is not healthy. Staff are expected to work miracles eg: tidy shop floor and great customer service while on the absolute minimum staffing level possible. Unrealistic demands from above to meet goals.
